Öblarn-Niederöblarn

Just five minutes’ walk from the Hotel*** zum Stralz'n or our holiday house Karin there is:

  • a general practitioner’s office with a pharmacy, dentist, supermarket (farmers’ market), banks (Steiermärkische and Raiffeisen bank), post office, tennis court, and a heated open-air swimming pool,
  • Beach volleyball arena, beekeeping museum, market municipal office, kiosk, bakery, football stadium, car repair garage, gas station, Café, pub and restaurant, farmers’ garden, Paula Grogger museum, catholic and a protestant church as well as the "montanu”-historicali copper road in Öblarn.
  • Only 100 meters to the ski bus stop for the ski region Galsterberg Alm - Hauser Kaibling - Planai - Reiteralm (free ski bus transfer for skiers with valid ski pass).

Schladming-Dachstein

The region Schladming Dachstein ranks 5th in top tourist destinations in the Alps. In the winter it thrills its guests with a very well- developed infrastructure for the alpine and Nordic ski sports. As the venue of the Special Olympics World Winter Games in 2017 and 1993, the alpine ski World Cup in 2013 and 1982 as well as the Nordic ski World Cup in 1999, the region has stood in the spotlight already several times internationally. In the 4-interconnected ski areas in Schladming the incredible 123 runway kilometers are available in to ski mountains of Hauser Kaibling, Planai, Hochwurzen and Reiteralm. The skiing areas Fageralm, ski region Ramsau at the Dachstein, Galsterberg, Stoderzinken, Riesneralm and Planneralm complete the high-quality runway offer.

In the Summer
Even in the warm season there are seven aerial ropeways in Schladming in operation. The Schladming region (The S region) catapulted itself into a top destination with a network of 930 kilometers ski slopes, an attractive e-bike- offer as well as the Bike park.

Ski amadé

Five regions, 760 kilometers of runways, 270 lift systems and 260 ski huts and mountain restaurants - that is ski amadé. The Salzburger Sport, Schladming Dachstein, Gastein, Hochkönig and the Grossarl Valley belong to one of Austria’s largest ski enjoyments. For all those looking for the kick with a jump or a slide and fun in the white powder you’ll find in ski amadé a total of 20 snow parks and fun slopes and numerous freeride routes off the runways.
